Learning Iklecan

Next week I'll do verbs. This week I have...

(if distinction is absolutely nessecary, on=yas, in=arsu)

I think I'm almost ready to move on...it is the end of the week, after all.

-adri, -afi, -n'aya

sulatash, arram, shadis, tefalu.

I had fun today, saying things like "the mountain is next to the desert."* and such. Well, it wasn't that fun, but it was entertaining, and I'm learning.


*hakamajuril sulatashiz arramizadri.

Hakamaja sulatashizadri. I am next to the mountain.

Shadis sulatashizafi. Wind with the mountain.

Arramiz sulatashafilu. The desert [is] with mountains.

Tekas'am shadisiz? Do you know the wind?

Sufi, tekasaja arramiz. No, I know the desert.

Uu, hakam'amiza ulasakar? Oh, you're an ulasakar?

Utel. Hakam'amina selkiyal. Yes. And you're a selkiyal.

Utel, utel! Tekasajiza shadis, tekasajiza sulatash! Yes, yes! I know wind and mountain.

I am beginning...the noun. Gasp. I picked...
sulatash, "mountain"
arram, "desert"
shadis, "wind"
tefalu, "sand" (also a mild curse/oath)

Adessive Case, "near, next to" -adri
Abessive Case, "without" -n'aya
Sociative Case, "with" -afi

I'll post more later when 've learned something.

...that's what I've been working on for the past week. Well, that, and the adressive suffixes (they tell who you're spreaking to). I've learned to be, to make, to do, and to...gah, I know them better in Iklecan! Hakam, thazal, siraq, and tekas--ah! To know! There we go. I also know subjective pronouns* and objective pronouns**, as well as the aforememntioned adressive suffixes***. Oh, and negation: conjugate the verb safi, but only subjective suffixes go on that verb. anything else goes on the other verb.
